are perfect for sharing and celebrating all of life's milestones
and for honouring the people you love. |

Your personal “slideshow style” video will be
a treasured keepsake or ideal gift for a wedding, birthday,
anniversary, graduation, special occasion, holiday, reunion,
family tree project, or tribute. |

We are also there to compassionately walk with you through
the entire process of honouring a loved one with a memorial
DVD. Remembering and sharing the love, life, and times of a
loved one in this way will help to comfort those who are grieving
and promote healing. |

How We Do it |
| |
Through a thoughtful, creative, and artistic approach, we
work with you to expertly combine your mementos into a personalized
expression. We accomplish a one of a kind feel by not using
templates. We can include anything you have, seen or heard,
(pictures, videos, music, sound and voice recordings, etc.),
from virtually any source, and complete your presentation with
additions such as titles, text inserts, and credits. |

Things You Can Prepare |
| 1. |
Gather Your Media: Collect any available pictures, music,
video footage, printed material, or any other significant objects
or items, (that we may, for example, photograph). |
| 2. |
Organize the Sequence: Number your photos in the order you
wish them to appear with a three digit number starting with
“001.” For digital files you’ve taken with
a digital camera or scanned in yourself, copy them and rename
the filename. For prints, use a pencil to number labels, then
apply them to the back of your photo, we will then need to scan
these photos, (click
here and refer to the Medium resolution Silver scanning package prices). IF you are going to scan the images yourself, click here for basic instructions. Also label any additional media or items using appropriate titles. Compile an ordered and itemized list of all your collected content (except music) and include where you may want title screens, (give them their own number) and captions, (write a note in your itemized list beside the image they are going on). |

Estimate the Length: Consider the length of any video clips
and that each picture will be displayed for an average of around
6 seconds (or ten images a minute), and then add in the length
of time for title screens and any other known segments, and
you should be able to come very close to how long your finished
video will be. Twenty to thirty minute presentations are at
about the average persons threshold of boredom, but for Family
Tree type projects, it is more important to accurately and completely
document information. |

Plan your music and Sound Bites: Music is usually a very
important part of your presentation. Choose the songs or sections
of songs that are appropriate in theme and required length.
Add the song title to your itemized list indicating where you
want the song to start and stop, and if necessary, include a
description of which part(s) of the song you want to use or
omit. |

Decide on what you want to see on your Memory DVD label and
case. |

We can also capture sound from an old answering machine;
record voiceovers in our office, on location or remotely; scan
any flat objects (such as photos, art, or certificates) and
photograph any not so flat items (such as rings, baby spoons,
a favorite sweater); transfer video footage, basically anything
that can be represented we will work with you to capture for
your DVD. |

While we like to have a two week turn around time to facilitate
a customer proofing process, we are understanding and rush jobs
are welcome. |

You can preview your proofed job online or in our office.
After any necessary changes are made and the job approved by
you, we will master your file for you and make your DVD or VHS
copy of it. Then you will receive the finished product together
with any material you left with us to complete your job. We
can also post your Memory DVD online to be viewed around the
world and ordered directly from us by your family and friends. |
